  Joseph Brian Pallange

Hello brethren andsisters in Christ Jesus,Grace and peace of Godbe unto you always!  I would like to share with you some experiences thathelps my faith grows. Last April 9—14, 2012was our camp meeting in Valencia, and also on this month I go with PastorMike and other Bible workers going to Polomolok Gen. Santos City. That time Iwas not able to send money to my wife and 3 children for their food because Ihave no good income from my clinic at that time. But the Lord is faithful, during this time my wife was enjoying as she and my children harvesting manymushroom. Almost daily they can gather more than a kilo mushroom and it willsupply the whole day needs. My wife said, first time in history that they findmushroom and it is more delicious than mushroom from the market. 3 weeks I wasnot able to send money but still’ the Lord grows up many mushrooms to eat withrice. Praise God! This is a lesson that I really learn that we should push thegospel work. Oh, I can remember my dear father’s story when his co-workerPastor Lucenara at the age near around 90’s (he died around 95 years old) whenout of money to buy for food, he invite his wife to worship God and pray, andsuddenly a stream of rice flows like a water from their nipa roof (made ofcoconut leaves)  that sustain their needs.  “[Let your]conversation [be] without covetousness; [and be] content with such things as yehave: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.” Heb. 13:5Let us pray one another.Every day I am praying to our God that He will have still mercy for His peopleand for the world. Right now my deep burden is to see our church will beorganize thoroughly--Unitedly Enter the Field of Service. I see the work of anefficient Elder as a shepherd is very need in a church or there must be a fulltime shepherding in the church, otherwise, the sheep will go astray. Allow meto quote, “In laboring where there are already some in the faith, the ministershould at first seek not so much to convert unbelievers, as to train the churchmembers for acceptable co-operation. Let him labor for them individually, endeavoring to arouse them to seek for a deeper experience themselves, and towork for others. When they are prepared to sustain the minister by theirprayers and labors, greater success will attend his efforts.”--Gospel Workers,p. 196.I have a bible studyevery Saturday afternoon with 10-15 Bile students and praying and working forlarger work in the future and currently translating for Sabbath School Lesson.May God bless us all, is my earnest prayer.Joseph Brian PalangeThis [is] my comfort inmy affliction: for thy word hath quickened me. Ps. 119:50
